This bank beetle is perfect to be used as a hopper dropper rig! It’s very buoyant to support heavy nymphs, highly visible, and small enough to land subtly on the water. So, you don’t spook those trout! It’s one of my favorite summer-fall patterns when terrestrials are out. I use it for any trout species but mostly for brook trout or smaller fish.
